We use [[en:hardware:antennas:h-field|Magnetic (H-Field) antennas]] or [[en:hardware:antennas:e-field|Electrical (E-Field) antennas]] or both.
H-field antennas can be sub-divided into [[en:hardware:antennas:h-field:loop|loop antennas]] and [[en:hardware:antennas:h-field:ferrite-rod|ferrite rod antennas]].

Your receiver works fine with either H-Field or E-Field antenna.\\
Both types have their advantages and disadvantages.\\
You can easily start with one of them, and then install the other later, or settle for one.
